Leeds’ Thirteenth formed in the fall of 2006. Meeting through various lucky happenings, the four started jamming out together and enjoyed a lot of synchronicity from the start. They worked on polishing up some originals and wrote new songs that were more indicative of the bands developing sound.
Dave’s driving bass lines and creative songwriting and Paul’s unparalleled monstertastic drum skills fuse to form the backbone for this sound. Clint expertly carves out the front of the instrumental sound, and adds texture and intricacy through his guitar. Amy lends the band her strong and distinctive voice, experienced songwriting capabilities, and also plays rhythm guitar to balance the sound.
This year, Leeds’ Thirteenth will release their first full-length album, Wicked Things. It will be available on iTunes and Rhapsody, and for sale at live shows and through their website.
